- Guardian Power Master Load Shedding Device
- Is used to automatically disconnect selected loads from the generator output when a high demand appliance
The selected loads will then be automatically reconnected to the generator output once the high demand appliance is turned off
The selected loads will only be disconnected if the transfer switch is in the generator position when the high demand appliance is started
A total of up to two 240V, 30Amp loads can be connected to the system and be controlled by a total of up to two 24Vac control signals from various high demand appliances
It works when priority load (A) is running, Power Master will lock out (B) and demand for (A) is satisfied, (B) will be able to operate
Alternates electrical load between two circuits
For additional circuits, you can add up to 4 more devices
Requires 3 conduits: A line from the Power Master to the distribution panel, a control line from the low voltage control box of the appliance and a control line from the transfer switch to the Power Master
Works with Guardian air-cooled and liquid-cooled generators
Once installation is completed, the Power Master assembly will operate automatically without any need for user intervention or routine maintenance
